Fuels: How the stamp duty is currently driving prices up in Senegal

Since last weekend, Senegalese citizens have noticed an increase in fuel prices due to the implementation of a 1% stamp duty on cash payments. This tax measure has led to an immediate rise in pump prices, just four months after a significant decrease in the prices of gasoline and diesel.
