CEI of 2019 and 2020: Inclusion and Reform Born from Dialogue with the African Union

The reform of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) in Côte d'Ivoire was marked by two major texts in 2019 and 2020 aimed at enhancing its inclusivity. The new CEI of 2019 includes fifteen members, including representatives from civil society and political parties, and aims to pacify the electoral process in Côte d'Ivoire.
