Comrades Marathon 2026: Official ‘bus drivers’ revealed for 50th Up Run

The Comrades Marathon Association has announced the 26 official pacesetters for the 99th edition of the Ultimate Human Race, the 50th Up Run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. These 'bus drivers' will guide runners to their medal targets, with nine official buses ranging from sub-7:30 (Silver Medal) to sub-12 hours (Vic Clapham Medal). Race director Sue Forge highlighted their vital role in keeping participants motivated and energized.
