Cotton: Ivory Coast tries to reduce gap with Benin and Mali – La Nouvelle Tribune

Ivory Coast's cotton sector targets 400,000 tons for the 2026/2027 season, after two consecutive years of underperformance. The 2025/2026 production reached only 310,398 tons, far below the initial target of 550,000 tons. Benin aims for 700,000 tons and Mali for between 598,500 and 650,000 tons. Brou Kouakou, executive director of APROCOT-CI, announced the objective on June 24, 2026.
