CPPE disagrees with World Bank over fuel, food imports

The Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE) disagreed with the World Bank's proposal to increase imports of petroleum products and food into Nigeria. CPPE CEO Dr. Muda Yusuf stated that this recommendation misaligns with the country's current economic realities and could undermine progress in macroeconomic stability. He emphasized the need to strengthen local production and avoid increased dependence on imports.
