SDP crisis: Why court adjourned criminal case against Gabam - Gombe - Daily Post Nigeria

National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prof. Sodiq Abubakar, explained why a Magistrate Court in Abuja adjourned the criminal case against former national chairman Shehu Gabam to July 20, 2026. The adjournment was due to the party's inability to provide a key bank statement as evidence. The party had to subpoena the bank through the court registry to obtain the document. Gabam was arraigned in May 2026 for alleged misappropriation of N35 million.
