Lawmakers can't trek to work - Umeh justifies official vehicles allocation [VIDEO]

Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central defended the provision of official vehicles to lawmakers during an interview on AIT. He stated that members of the National Assembly cannot trek to work to carry out their legislative duties. Umeh criticized the singling out of the National Assembly for criticism, noting that the executive arm also has fleets of vehicles. He insisted that one official vehicle per senator is not excessive.
