Macabre discovery in Tivaouane: The sea washes ashore a lifeless body on Khondio beach

A lifeless body was found on Khondio beach in the commune of Darou Khoudoss on May 15, 2026. The victim, a male, could not be identified due to advanced decomposition. Local authorities, including the Mboro gendarmerie and firefighters, were alerted and arrived at the scene. According to sources, the body was reportedly buried on-site under the instruction of the Tivaouane prosecutor's delegate.
