UNIOSUN students protest colleague's death as university clarifies circumstances

Students of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) protested at the Ifetedo Campus after the death of Grace Osunlakin, a 400-level Criminology and Security Studies student, alleging inadequate medical personnel and healthcare facilities. The university closed the campus and issued a preliminary report stating that Grace had asthma and died after complaining of stomach pain, with transportation to a health centre delayed by an unannounced Oro ritual in the Ifetedo community.
