Gunmen abduct four students, principal, NECO officer during exam in Kogi

On Tuesday, gunmen attacked Government Secondary School, Odo-Ekina, in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria, abducting four students, the school principal, and a National Examinations Council (NECO) ad hoc staff member while students were writing their NECO exam. The Kogi State Police Command confirmed that a search-and-rescue operation is underway and one student has been rescued. The Police Commissioner, Brigade Commander, and State Security Adviser to the Governor have visited the scene.
