Troops arrest 24 foreign nationals in Lagos hideout raid

Troops of the 65 Battalion, in conjunction with the Vigilante Group, raided a secluded fenced compound at Imokun in the Odo-Noforija/Poka axis of Epe, Lagos. They arrested 24 foreign nationals, comprising 15 males and nine females. Preliminary profiling showed the suspects are from West and Central Africa: 10 Cameroonians, six Togolese, three Ivorians, three Beninese, one Burkinabe, and one Guinea-Bissau national. They were handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service for further investigation. The General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Major General Adebayo Babalola, urged sustained operations against criminals.
