Ivory Coast: Foscao denounces inhumane evictions during rainy season

The West African Civil Society Forum (Foscao) Ivory Coast, through its national coordinator Drissa Soulama, denounces the current eviction methods in several municipalities of Abidjan. The organization calls for a suspension during the rainy season and exam period, as families are evicted without rehousing, exposed to weather and diseases such as cholera and malaria. It also recommends establishing a compensation mechanism for affected populations.
