Reug Reug Case: The Prosecutor Chooses Judicial Investigation, What Is It About?

Oumar Kane, known as « Reug Reug », along with Ahmadou Bamba Ndiaye and Diégane Faye, were arrested by the Faidherbe research brigade and brought before the Dakar prosecutor's office. The prosecutor opted for an investigation, avoiding a quick trial in flagrante delicto, due to charges of conspiracy, attempted fraud, and possession of materials for counterfeiting banknotes. The case will now be examined through an in-depth judicial inquiry led by a judge to determine the facts and roles involved.
