The Health Future by 2035 for the Continent is Decided in Abidjan Among 47 Countries

Ivory Coast is hosting a strategic meeting from April 13 to 17, 2026, gathering representatives from 47 African countries to develop the Regional Strategic Plan 2026-2030 and the WHO's Vision 2035. Health Minister Pierre Dimba emphasized the importance of this meeting in shaping the future of health systems in Africa. He also highlighted ongoing challenges, such as health sector financing and the implementation of primary health care, while calling for innovative solutions.
