Insecurity: Police begin crackdown on vehicles with illegal tints, covered number plates

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has launched a large-scale operation against vehicles with illegal tints, concealed number plates, and unregistered vehicles to combat crime in Abuja. Commissioner Ahmed Sanusi announced that over 30 vehicles have already been impounded. Owners will face prosecution under federal laws and the FCT Road Transport Regulations 2023. Sanusi urged residents to cooperate and report suspicious activities.
