CCTV shows frying pan used to stop Huntingdon train attacker

At Anthony Williams’s trial in Cambridge, jurors watched CCTV showing crew member Samir Zitouni fending off the attacker with a frying pan aboard a Doncaster-to-London train. The train made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon on 1 November 2025 after a knife attack that left Zitouni seriously injured; both his lungs were punctured and he required four blood transfusions. Williams, 33, denies attempting to murder 10 people on the train, three people in Peterborough the previous day, and a boy at a London railway station. Prosecutors say the attacks themselves are not in dispute and jurors must decide whether Williams intended to kill.
