EFCC seeks permanent forfeiture of 57 properties linked to Ex-AGF, Malami to FG

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has requested the Federal High Court in Abuja for the permanent forfeiture of 57 properties linked to former Attorney General Abubakar Malami. The EFCC stated that Malami failed to provide sufficient evidence of legitimate ownership to vacate the interim forfeiture order. Several individuals and companies are named as respondents in this case, and the EFCC received petitions alleging serious cases of corruption and abuse of office against Malami.
