Eid-el-Kabir: CDS urges unity, salutes troops’ sacrifices

The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, called on members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to continue embracing sacrifice, unity, and patriotism as the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration takes place. In a goodwill message, he paid tribute to troops deployed across various operational theatres, commending their courage and dedication to national security. Oluyede also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his ongoing support of the military and wished all Nigerians a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
