Enugu Govt dispels viral post suggesting imminent attack on UNN

The Enugu State Government dismissed a viral post warning of an imminent attack on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) as false and unfounded. In a statement by Commissioner for Information Dr. Malachy Agbo, the government accused criminal elements of trying to spread panic. It recalled similar false alarms in the past whose perpetrators were tracked down and arrested. The government assured that the state's security infrastructure under Governor Peter Mbah remains robust and proactive.
