This audit aims to ensure that companies only recover legitimate expenses, preventing cost inflation that could reduce the government's share of oil revenues. Gulf Energy Ltd, which has acquired a majority of Tullow Oil shares in Turkana, is one of the contracted companies for this USD 6 billion project.
