Niger: an explosive device kills one and injures several, another young man found hanged after the tragedy

An explosive device detonated in the Aéroport neighborhood of Niamey on August 29, 2023, killing Nasir, a young man around 20 years old, and seriously injuring two others. Souleymane, a friend of Nasir, also died after being deeply traumatized by the explosion. Another young man, disturbed by the events, was found hanged from a tree. The two deceased young men were buried at the Muslim cemetery in Saga.
