Democracy Day: Kebbi ADC urges politicians to prioritise public interest over personal gain

The Kebbi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) called on politicians to prioritize public interest over personal gain, stating that the June 12 struggle promotes good governance. In a statement by its Deputy Publicity Secretary, Engr. Abubakar Atiku Musa, the party stressed that democracy must include accountability, security, and protection of citizens' rights. Musa expressed concern over security challenges, economic hardship, and declining public confidence, urging leaders to strengthen democratic institutions and the rule of law.
