Five officers taken off front-line duties after bag of guns found

Five Metropolitan Police officers have been removed from front-line duties after a bag containing firearms and a Taser was found on a London street near the home of Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan. The bag, discovered by a member of the public, contained a sub-machine gun, a pistol, a Taser, and some ammunition. Police stated that it is believed the bag was misplaced by on-duty officers shortly before it was found.
