Former Mathioya MP Githiari Arrested Over Alleged Ksh6.4 Million Fraud

Former Mathioya MP Francis Njakwe Githiari has been arrested by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over an alleged land fraud scheme involving Ksh6.4 million. Githiari reportedly deceived a couple seeking to buy land in Ngong by presenting himself as both the seller and the contractor for the construction project. After routine visits to the site revealed ownership disputes, the couple reported the matter to investigators.
