Road blockade on Ngungu-Remeka and Rubaya-Remeka axes worsens humanitarian crisis in Masisi

The traffic halt on the Ngungu–Remeka and Rubaya–Remeka roads has plunged Masisi territory (North Kivu) into a socio-economic crisis for over a week. The closure, attributed to AFC/M23 following Wazalendo offensives, blocks supplies and causes shortages of basic necessities and waste of agricultural harvests. Clashes between FARDC, their Wazalendo allies, and AFC/M23 continue, and a traders' convoy was attacked at Kafunsi.
