Gov Eno sets up committee to tackle poor electricity in Akwa Ibom

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has established a committee made up of State Executive Council members and local government chairmen to ensure a steady power supply. The committee is tasked with reviewing ongoing power sector reforms and outlining practical steps for establishing an electricity market in the state. Electricity sector reform consultant, Mr. Eyo Ekpo, emphasized Akwa Ibom's potential for sustainable power supply due to its gas resources and existing infrastructure.
