Grand-Yoff: a worker arrested for theft of equipment, sold at a low price despite a loss of over one million FCFA

The Grand-Yoff police arrested a 30-year-old worker for stealing plumbing equipment from a construction site in Liberté 6 Extension, causing a loss of over 1.2 million FCFA. The suspect was identified through his phone communications and a suspicious money transfer. He admitted to selling the equipment to a scrap dealer for 75,000 FCFA to finance his mother's medical care. He is currently in custody, while his accomplice is being sought.
