Hajj 2026: Two Cameroonian Female Pilgrims Die in Mecca

The 2026 Hajj was marked by the death of two Cameroonian female pilgrims, Oummoul Ahmadou and Diddi Didjatou, who died in Mecca after experiencing malaise. They were among the 5,022 Cameroonians who made the pilgrimage. Another tragedy involving a returning pilgrim resulted in four deaths (two of his children and two relatives) in a road accident in Maroua.
