Health scare at Nyanga school: Learners rushed to hospital after biscuit incident

On Monday, June 8, 2026, learners at Sikelela Primary School in Crossroads, Nyanga, were rushed to hospital after eating biscuits bought from a local vendor. Five Grade 6 learners were hospitalized for further assessment, while others were sent home. No criminal cases were registered, according to police spokesperson Wesley Twigg.
