National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, stated that his life experience and practical knowledge give him greater understanding than many university graduates despite his lack of formal education. Speaking at the 50th birthday celebration of Islamic singer Hafsat Adegoke in Lagos, he recounted his beginnings as a teenage bus conductor and his rise to union leadership. He noted that his children are a doctor, lawyer, and engineer in the United States, proving he prioritized education for his family. He also criticized men who shirk their family responsibilities.
