In Goma, a consortium of NGOs launches a mobilization campaign for environmental protection

On World Environment Day, a consortium of NGOs including FDAPID, ACEDH, VDO, RADEC, CBCS, and FORED launched a mobilization campaign in Goma, North Kivu, for environmental protection. FDAPID coordinator Vicar Batundi Hangi noted that climate change effects are already visible in the DRC through disrupted agricultural seasons and increased natural disasters. He called for collective awareness, green economy approaches, and integration of environmental respect into all projects. This year's theme, 'Climate Action,' highlights the urgency to act.
