Israel claims head of Hamas military wing killed in Gaza strike

Israel announced that it killed Mohammed Odeh, the head of Hamas's military wing, in an airstrike in Gaza. Odeh, a former Hamas intelligence chief, reportedly succeeded Izz al-Din al-Haddad, who was killed earlier this month. The strike also resulted in six deaths and 20 injuries in the Remal neighborhood of Gaza City, as civilians were shopping for Eid.
