Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon continue despite ‘ceasefire’ extension

Israeli warplanes have carried out new air strikes on southern Lebanon, a day after agreeing to a 45-day ceasefire extension with Lebanon. Strikes were reported in at least five villages, and forced displacement orders were issued for nine villages near Sidon and Nabatieh. Despite negotiations in Washington, Hezbollah opposes the talks as Israeli bombardments continue.
