Ivory Coast Unveils 225 Billion Economic Zone in Adzopé with 51,000 Jobs

Ivorian Trade Minister Kalil Konaté visited the site of the future Special Economic Zone in Adzopé, 85 km from Abidjan. The project, with an investment of 225 billion FCFA, is expected to create 51,000 direct and indirect jobs. The zone will cover 432 hectares with potential expansion. A 225 kV electrical substation is under construction to power the zone. The state will finance 25% of the cost (52 billion) and has requested support from the BOAD for the remainder.
