Jigawa govt warns against illegal fees in Renewed Hope Programme registration

The Jigawa State Government has warned residents against paying any fees for registration into the President’s Renewed Hope Support Programme. Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed, stated that the registration process is completely free and condemned reports of enumerators allegedly collecting five hundred naira from applicants. He urged residents not to make any payments and to report anyone demanding money.
