'Jonathan, Atiku, Obi doing Tinubu's campaign work for him' - Vanguard News

According to a report by political consulting firm CellHub, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the frontrunner for the 2027 presidential election, not due to popularity (approval rating in low 30s) but because of a divided opposition. Nigeria's winner-takes-all electoral system favored Tinubu in 2023 with 36.61% of valid votes, against Atiku (29.07%), Obi (25.40%), and Kwankwaso (6.23%). In 2027, Atiku (ADC with Amaechi), Obi (NDC with Kwankwaso), and Jonathan (PDP faction) are running, further aiding Tinubu, especially as the APC controls 31 of 36 states.
