In Cameroon, the army explores with Sotrabus the possibility of local production of military vehicles and equipment

In April 2026, the Cameroonian Ministry of Defense initiated discussions with Sotrabus to develop local production of military vehicles and individual equipment such as helmets and vests. Sotrabus, specialized in the construction of intercity buses, is already a supplier for several transport operators. This initiative aligns with the National Development Strategy 2020-2030, aimed at supporting the emergence of a competitive industrial fabric in Cameroon.
