Kano Hisbah bans commercial film distribution on phones at charging centres

The Kano State Hisbah Board has banned commercial film distribution on phones, typically done at phone charging centres, across all 44 local government areas of the state. Deputy Commander-General Dr Mujahideen Aminudden announced the ban on Thursday in Kano, following complaints from parents about uncensored and explicit content being shared with children. He warned that offenders will be prosecuted and personnel have been deployed to enforce compliance.
