Kenyan unionists detained in Uganda freed

Two Kenyan truck drivers' union leaders, Sudi Mwatela and Elijah Nyaga, were released after two days in Ugandan custody. They were arrested at the Uganda-South Sudan border in Elegu for raising concerns over harassment and illegal levies. Their detention led to a blockade at the Malaba and Busia borders, which was lifted following their release.
