EACC Summons 35 Narok MCAs Over Assembly Floor Fight

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned 35 Members of the Narok County Assembly over a physical altercation that occurred on May 19, 2026, during a sitting. Investigations focus on allegations of unethical conduct. Assembly Speaker Davis Solian Dikirr and Clerk Joseph Kasaine Lengeny were required to record statements on June 4 at the EACC headquarters in Nairobi. Other MCAs must appear from June 8. The fight reportedly stemmed from disputes over leadership changes and an impeachment motion against Finance County Executive Committee Member David Ole Muntet.
