Briton's Iran jail sentence extended by two years, family says

British man Craig Foreman has had two years added to his 10-year prison sentence in Iran for talking to the media from his cell. He and his wife Lindsay were arrested in January 2025 and sentenced in February to 10 years on espionage charges, which they deny. They have been on hunger strike since May after prison authorities prevented them from calling their families. The family, including Lindsay's son Joe Bennett, is appealing to Iranian authorities for clemency and release.
