Police dismiss officers over alleged kidnapping, robbery, extortion in Rivers

The Nigeria Police Force announced the dismissal, arrest, and prosecution of officers involved in criminal activities such as kidnapping and extortion in Rivers State. Investigations uncovered a syndicate of officers, including Inspectors Ayanniyi Jelili, Durojaye Francis, and Olayemi Titus, who conducted illegal operations in Port Harcourt. Three other officers are currently at large, while another group of officers has also been dismissed for similar acts.
