Lagos intensifies crackdown on illegal structures along Badagry Expressway

The Lagos State Government has intensified the removal of shanties and illegal structures along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced on X that the operation has been ongoing for three weeks. He warned that violators would be arrested and prosecuted under state laws. The Lagos-Badagry Expressway, a major corridor, remains a focus of environmental enforcement.
