Brazilian ex-intelligence chief detained by US immigration authorities

Alexandre Ramagem, the former director of Brazil's intelligence agency ABIN, was detained by US authorities in Florida after fleeing Brazil following a 16-year prison sentence for his involvement in a coup plot to keep Jair Bolsonaro in power. Ramagem also has a pending asylum application in the US.
