APC picks Gwamna as Gombe consensus governorship candidate, drops Pantami

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State has selected Dr. Jamilu Shaiyaku Gwamna as its consensus governorship candidate, dropping Isa Pantami. Pantami's supporters, known as the Pantamiyya Movement, have rejected this decision, calling the consensus process unacceptable. Additionally, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has had its Board of Trustees take over its affairs following a Supreme Court ruling.
