Nigerian Army refutes claims of negligence in death of soldier in Katsina

The Nigerian Army dismissed reports regarding the death of Corporal Ude Jude as misleading. According to a statement, Ude was injured on February 16 while deployed at a Forward Operating Base in Funtua, Katsina, after leaving his post to purchase personal items. Although he received appropriate medical care, he collapsed outside his home on March 24 and was confirmed dead.
