Deputy Theoveul Lotika advocates for the urgent revival of SOTEXKI in Kisangani

Deputy Theoveul Lotika called on the government to revive the Société textile de Kisangani (SOTEXKI), a key player for the economy of the Tshopo province. Despite the announcement of a revival plan and over 17 million dollars in funding, the interim Minister of Industry requested a rescheduling of the debate session. SOTEXKI, established in 1974, faces major challenges, including outdated equipment and drastically reduced production.
