FG assures no Ebola case in Nigeria, boosts national preparedness

The Nigerian federal government has confirmed that there are no cases of Ebola in the country while intensifying preparedness and surveillance measures. Professor Muhammad Pate, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, stated that precautionary measures were activated following recent outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Surveillance systems have been reinforced, and screening protocols at entry points have been improved to reduce the risk of disease importation.
