Gabon aims to become a shareholder in Eramet

During the Africa-France summit in Nairobi, Gabon announced its intention to become a shareholder in the French mining group Eramet, which exploits Gabon's manganese through its subsidiary Comilog. This decision aims to regain control over the country's natural resources and create added value locally. Eramet acknowledged this intention as part of a €500 million capital increase project, which will be presented to shareholders at the upcoming general meeting scheduled for the 27th.
