Groupe Lotus launches project to assist victims of community conflicts in Tshopo

Groupe Lotus, a human rights NGO based in Kisangani (Tshopo), launched a seven-month project to assist victims of community conflicts. Presented on June 4, 2026, the project includes five main activities: awareness-raising, support for survivors of sexual violence, and capacity-building for women's organizations. Executive Director Guylaine Lomalisa deplored the increase in human rights violations in the province, which is plagued by chronic conflicts.
